Typically replacing 1 CV joint of the 2 on a half shaft is just as costly as replacing the entire half shaft. I've not work on it with our car however.

I agree. On both of my accords, I replaced the entire half shaft when my CV joint went out. I also agree that I haven't worked on the TSX either, so I'm not sure how much of our "euro accord" shares with the USDM accord....

Man, you don't want to know....this has been such an ordeal...

When I was lowering my car myself, I put the brake caliper on the front left back on wrong. The way I put it on caused the brake line to be in constant contact with the CV joint boot. This wore a hole in the boot which made it spin out grease all over. Anyway....turns out the dealership called me on it and now it's gonna cost me 450 smackers to fix it all............not at the dealership tho...they cost too much.

btw...I'm getting the whole half shaft replaced.
