Just out of curiosity, have any owners had problems with the horn going off inadvertantly? I've read a couple complaints regarding how easy it is to sound off, when the driver did not intend to use it.

 

I think it is more because it is so sensitive to the touch and it is big enough where it is easy to hit when you are making a quick and big turn.

 

.....or, any time at all, really. I keep having to apologize to everyone for making it go off.

Yeah, I've hit the horn a few times inadvertently and had some people look at me like I"m crazy. If the whole center piece was not the horn, then this problem would not persist. However, I'm kind of glad that's the way it is, because if I ever do need to use the horn in a pinch, I won't have a problem setting it off.

 

And speaking of the horn ... can I get a for the horn having some deepness? I love sounding like an SUV instead of a Yugo

Good to hear that not too many people are having a problem with "premature activation." Your wives must be happy about that!

horn went off twice by accident.

 

I have accidently hit my horn several times especially when adjusting the dash brightness. I don't like to admit I'm wrong so if I set it off and someone looks at me....I just flip 'em of and start screaming incoherant rants.('') Just trying to make new friends.
