Hit a pothole, blew a shock?

Hi. For starts, love my TSX, and I beat on it quite a bit. However I am a very concious driver, and I always slow down for bumps and or rough pavement. The other day, however, I hit a section of concrete being worked on, and my TSX has never been the same.
Most of the impact from this 2" verticle wall of concrete went to my front passenger side shock. At first, things didn't sound any worse than any other bump, but I began to notice my steering wheel felt looser and the car now pulls to the left.
When i bought the car back in March, I complained to the dealer regarding initial alignment issues. They claimed this had something to do with wheel weights, and did manage to mostly fix the issue (although not to my full satisfaction).
I drive a great deal, 40,000 miles a year, and I am very sensitive to changes in steeringwheel feel and alignment. I have no doubt that maybe i threw my alignment out by hitting that huge bump at 30-40mph, but could something else have been knocked loose? I also wonder about the shocks, because now driving my car, i notice things feel "vague" and a little "floaty" on the passenger side. bumps seem to make more noise on the passenger side as well. Is it possible that I blew a shock? how much are coilovers?

Not to discount what you said, but my first guess would be its mental. Your alignment is almost certainly out of wack, but hearing noises, floatiness (things that are hard to measure) are likely because you are listening harder. people don't notice there's a problem till they think there's a problem if you know what i mean, happens to me all the time w/ my car.

I'd take it to the dealer to have her checked out, for the alignment at least.

Here is a thread discussing new suspensions:

Sounds like you just want coilovers.

I agree with Xizor. I think it's mostly psychological.

You might have also bent a rime and thrown the wheels out of balance.

I flip out whenever I install something new on my car, always hearing new sounds that are problems with the install, half of the time my passengers don't know what I'm talking about

No. Easiest way to check to see if your shocks are gone, look for fluid and dirt around the outside of the shock.

My gf was trying so hard to understand what I'm trying to say most of the time, but ends up she never understand. She thought I'm toooooo sensitive to changes, or just want another upgrade.
