HID problems and Whistling noises fixed!

hey guys. i finally solved the whistling noise i have been hearing at 30-40 MPH
i thought all this time it was the wiper arm and blade on the drivers side. after trying everything i could think of with the wiper to solve it i finally found out that the problem is the plastic filler peice located under the wipers is not making contact with the windshield all the way across.
i found by laying a strip of tape across the peice and to the glass stopped the noise compleatly. im going to take the car in and see if anything can be done to make that seal better.

now fo rthe HIDS, i know many of you have asked about the hids on low beam how its hard to see stuff.
well the 2nd day i got my car i had adjusted them up a little so i could see better.
since i have been driving it a while and looking down the road at the beam i decided to get the specs (thanks e_lectro) and see how far out of adjustment they are.

according to spec the lights are adjusted by parking the car exactly 25 feet from a wall on a flat surfaced and level area. then you take a tape measure and measure from the ground to the center of the HID low beam (there is a small circle with a plus sign around it on the lense that marks the exact center of the projector beam.
i found mine to be exactly 26.5 inched from the ground. then you go to the wall exactly 25 feet from the same point on the lense and measure exactly 2.1 inches lower than your measurement you got to the center of the light.
in my case this was 24.4 inches from the ground. stick a peice of tape on the wall at this measurement for both right and left beams. your beam should fall right on that line where the lowermost part of the beam is for each light
in other words this part -->_____/ for each light. dont worry about the higher part of the beam to the right.

i went to a local target store and found an area where there was a white dumpster. on a nice smooth paved and level parking lot. i brought a measuring tape and checked everything.
as it turned out i didnt need to adjust anything.. which is strange because i had already moved the lights up about 3/4 to 1 inch higher than they were stock when looking at the reflection on a wall from about 18-20 feet.
so for thoes of you who are a little bugged by the lighting being so low on the road i would suggest you make the measurement and see where yours are.
to adjust the lights up and down take a long #2 or #3 phillips screwdriver and slip it through the hole marked U <--> D on top of each light assembly. when you stick the screwdriver in the hole it will slip behind a washer that has teeth on it like a gear. when you turn the screwdriver it actually rotates the gear just like a right angle gear between the screwdriver and the gear itself.

there is no adjustment for the left and right because that adjustment has a gray plastic cover over the adjuster making it impossible to move.

if any of you get a chance to try this let me know here i would be curious to see if this is consistant that all the beams are adjusted too low.
i can tell you that where mine are now adjusted it is possible to see signs more easily alongside the road when i drive.

good luck!

i also found the piller under wiper are not a "seal" with windshield, but i don't know if the dealer will fix it or tell me that's normal. it's funny because the driver side is okay but the passanger side is like a bump up...
