Hello,

I need some help. I have a 2004 TSX, NO Nav.

I have installed the Grom Ipod adapter. Very similar to most Ipod Adapters. Just plugs into the base of the radio.

Unfortunately Now that its plugged in, I cannot get the radio to recognize it because the 2004 models do not have a XM radio button. They only have a CD/AUX button that does not switch over. From my research I need to switch something over to CDC mode. Does anyone know how to do this?

How do i switch to CDC mode so that the Radio can recognize the new Grom AUX is plugged in? This is only an issue in the 2004 TSX models.

just hit the CD/AUX button till you see CDC you might have to hit it twice.

That didn't work. Ive hit is a million times. On all consistency also. Any other suggestions? im all open to trying anything.

maybe try to disconnect it and then reconnect. Other then that I'm out of ideas. Good luck

That is all I have to do on my 2004 Non-navi with the SHOND3. It recongnizes it as the CD changer, hence you press the mode button on the steering wheel or the CD button on the headunit. If that isn't working, then either you don't have the module in correctly or it is a piece of fail.
