i finally got annoyed with the headliner buzzing and rattling when i accelerate and hit bumps. I isolated the problem to be items 8 and 11 in the pic below.



8 sits inside 11 but not snugly. it was loose and causing the buzzing/rattles. i shoved some foam between them and it fixed it!

no more buzzing and rattles...woohoo!

 

I have an appointment with service to look at mine next week as the rattling is getting louder and more frequent and now seems to be coming not only front the right front dash but the left side as well. Is this the only fix you have seen on the site? Any more info you care to share?
