Headlights turned on, tail lights turn off
I bought a '08 TSX a few months ago as a second vehicle. As my girlfriend pulled away from the house one evening, I noticed the tail lights were not on. When I called to remind her to turn on the headlights she insisted that they were. Finding this strange, I asked her to bring the car back so I could check it out. The headlights, turn signals, and brake lights were ok, but no tail lights. Interestingly, the tail lights turn on after initiating the remote start, but as soon as you turn the key and engage the headlights, the tail lights simultaneously turn off. Any advice?

Check all your fuses, do the dash lights turn on?

Great suggestion. Thank you. The dash lights turn on, eg; instrument cluster, radio, and climate display, however, I noticed recently that the stereo/climate controls are not illuminated. Is this unusual?

A fuse is very likely out. Typically called the 'small lights' fuse. Check in the driver's kick panel

A very simple wiring diagram. See attached diagram.
Suggest checking for 12V a the red/blk wire in the rear to confirm that 12V is missing or low voltage when lights are turned on. Use a test light to have a load on the circuit.
Most likely the relay on the Relay Control Module is faulty. I suspect entire module must be replaced.
good luck
