headlights - totally straight and level beam?
headlights - totally straight and level beam?
My low beams (HID) have a noticeable drop on the left hand side. Parked about 10' away from a brick wall, the left beam drops about 3/4 the height of a brick. Should the lights be completely straight and level?
As further background (not to pre-bias any opinions), I just had my car repaired for hit and run damage. It was hit in the front left side (same side I'm having the problem with). At that time there was a severe lowering of the light pattern, but $1800 worth of repairs later, I would have assumed it was corrected (I know at least the light assembly was replaced). I got the car back last Friday, but only drove it at night for the first time last night.
If it doesn't sound correct, I'll contact the bodyshop. If they think it can be handled via an adjustment/alignment, I'd take it to one of their local dealers (closer to work and home). If not, I'd take it back to the bodyshop.
Thanks for any advice.

No... do a search, but this is how we don't blind on-coming drivers. All headlights do it, but because we have projectors and HIDs, the cut-off is more noticeable.
Now your adjustment may be a little low, but there should be a "stair step" pattern.
I have pics on my cardomain page.

Thanks, I'll look later today. Thru basically bad luck, my less that 5 month old 06 TSX has been in the shop so far a total of 6 weeks (still less than 2400 miles), so sometimes I'm not even sure I remember it's features and quirks.
