Headlight replacement on 04 TSX went bad
Ok.. so I researched for hours, followed multiple threads on this topic, but when I went to change the bulb, it didn't go well. Actually, the actual process of replacing the headlight went ok. The dead headlight is on the driver's side, so I found the cover, took it off, removed the housing, replaced the bulb, and finally placed it back (with a lot of trouble, but it finally went back in there and I snapped those metal connections back). BUT, when I went to turn on the light, there was a low buzzing/humming sound for a few seconds and then the passenger's side light went out! When I turned the lights on and off, they both stayed off! The high beams worked a few times, but then they didn't work either! I shut every thing off and turned the lights back on and sure enough, the driver's side light came on but the passenger's didn't. High beams worked once, then both low beams didn't come back on (after switching the switch off and then back on). Does anyone have a clue what's going on?? I thought I was going to save $300, which was Acura's quote, but now things got a lot more complicated.
