Head lamp Issue
Hello Guys not sure if this question was posted, but im freaking out because my bulb went out while driving. I stopped the car, popped the hood. Took off the plastic cover which revealed a rubber cover that goes directly behind the hid bulb. I noticed the rubber cover was fried in the inside which melted a bit. My question is does ACURA cover that under an extended warranty. I checked the sample online and It did not say anything about the rubber connector to the bulb. Any one have knowledge on this. Much appreciate people !
If you're referring to the rubber or hard plastic piece that attaches behind the HID bulb, then that's the igniter. This part is roughly $167 online. Also consider if the igniter has melted, it may have damaged the bulb too.

Hey there
Thanks for getting back to me. Indeed its the ignitor. I took it to Acura, and I got it replaced for free due to the extended warranty, as I checked prices they were a little pricey. I have 50000 miles on my 2005 tsx. I also just got my car sponsored on cs.com check it out. Ill be providing updates as i get more work done. I am buying two headlight fixtures euro design blacked out, with clear signals, just because I noticed that one side is brighter then the other. i think its because of the balancers, but the car is 5 years old so parts may need replacing. I really want a turbo in my car but am not sure how to go about this. Any ideas bro ?
Thanks,
Evan
