Hazard switch bulb repair
Hazard switch bulb repair
I have noticed for a while that the bulb in my hazard switch was burned out. I have previously replaced seat heater, gearshift, and VSA bulbs with the help of this great thread. This thread details the actual bulb replacement procedure

I am mainly posting the technique for accessing the switch.
The trim piece that surround the hazard switch has an anchoring tab on the top edge. If you use a credit card and depress the tab, you can then pull out the piece with the aid of a hook tool

Pic of anchoring tab

Disconnect the switch from the 5 pin connector. The switch is connected to the trim piece by two screws, but you do not need to remove the trim piece just to replace the bulb.
Bulb here - brown base

It is not crucial to preserve the red rubber covering on the old bulb - mine was partially melted onto the old bulb so I just installed a new white one. The triangle symbol on the switch is red.
After you replace the bulb, just reinstall the bulb base, reconnect the 5-pin connector, and then just press the assembly back into the vent area.
All done

Part numbers
Just wanted to add part numbers to this thread. I noticed recently that my hazard light was out so I had to scour the Interwebs for part numbers and it wasn't simple. So hopefully this helps someone in the future. This should apply to all 1st gen TSX's, but mine is an '06. There's two bulbs on the hazard switch:
Passenger airbag indicator: 35830-SEC-A11 (blue cap on bulb) ~$5
Hazard light: 35871-SDA-L01 (no cap on bulb) ~$5
