Smile Happy Ending!

I previously reported a squeak that developed somewhere in the overhead console where the reading lights are located. This problem started when the car had barely 500 Kms!

Anyhow, finally brought it in to the dealer yesterday and the mechanic took it for a road test, but couldn't find the problem until i showed him exactly where it was.

The trim piece holding the overhead console was slighty ajar on the front RH side. He finally got to fix it and the car is now squeak and rattle-free. Hope it stays this way.

Sorry for the thread hijack, Bengolf.

Your wording was humorous.

Yeah, my mind is in the gutter, but who's isn't??

No problem Teiger. I was thinking of trading the car for a new TL, but now that the squeak/rattles are gone...I am a happy camper once again.

Thanks Ortiz. Am having the rear deck lid spoiler (BMW E46 lip spoiler) painted and will have it installed sometime early next week.
