Handsfree link 4 digit passcode

My wife and daughter set the 4 digit passcode - and then forgot it!
I have followed all the instructions in the manual - no success.
Saying "system" several times finally gets a "pardon" response.
Will disconnecting the battery erase the memory?
I'm FRUSTRATED! Please anyone, HELP!

You have to have the dealer install and reset it. There's nothing you can do by yourself to reset it.

Edit: This is for the navi. I just noticed you said HandsFree Link (ie: the bluetooth/cell phone feature). I never knew I could password protect my HFL

can't you just delete the phone from the list of phones and re-pair it?

tahts' what i was going to say... you need a new HFL number each time you pair a phone... so if they set it and you can't remember if you remove the phone and try to re-pair it you should be fine...
