Handsfree Issue
Handsfree Issue
Hey guys,
I bought the TSX used equipped with GPS from a dealership. Unfortunately, the previous owner did not clear the handsfree/bluetooth passcode before selling the car.
I read on the manual on how to reset the passcode but unfortunately I think it only works if I actually knew the current passcode.
Is there anyway I can reset the passcode without actually getting into the system (as without the current passcode, the system seems to be locked).
Thank you so much for your help.

same issue here..
friend just bought a used '08 TSX w/ navi yesterday from the closest dealer which is over 2 hrs away...today we tried to setup the bluetooth to pair to her iPhone and can't get anywhere with it...the HFL keeps asking for a 4-digit code and the system doesnt even seem to recognize the "Phone Setup" command at all...not sure what we're going to do...need some help
As for the OP's question, I can't imagine the HFL system insisting on a pass code. I would just go in there, delete/unpair all of the cell phones, and then try from scratch. The pass code is a number used in the meantime during the pairing process so that the system can identify which phone to pair with (in case there are several nearby phones).
