Question half a a/c?

I was a victim of the broken a/c I have since replace the compressor afew weeks ago. This is whats happening now. The drives side vents now blow semi cold air and the passenger side blow arctic air. What gives?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

If this is happening with the temperature for both sides set to the same value, there is a problem with the controller or the hot/cold mixer door(s). I don't have a manual yet so I don't know if there is a controller reset procedure, but a call to a local AC shop might get the answer.

It sounds 2 me like u r loosin freon. I don't have alldata on this comp. anymore so I can't help u out as far as the drivers and pass. side temp actuators. Depending on how many miles u have, its most likely that the high side schrader valve might b the problem. I c them go bad all the time!! If u have a friend with any fittings u can get a get of 134a for dirt cheap. Walmart has is 4 about $5 for a 12 oz can. U can check the valve and its very easy and fast. Only problem is there is a special socket that u have 2 get 2 replace it. But the valve is like $10. Good luck! Anymore ? hit me up.

Here is what it looks like. U can get it just about anywhere. A fast way 2 tell if yours is leaking and you don't have an a/c checker. Fill the system up with freon and with the car running spray a little water in the high side valve(the one with the big red cap) if u c bubbles in the water and the water sprays out u have a very good starting point as 2 where ur leak is. I hope this helps a little.
