so i bought hid bulbs for my acura and they worked for about 2 months and then one of my bulbs went out. i bought another new hid, installed it and it did nothing. i checked my fuse and it was blown so i put another fuse in but it blows right away again. So someone told me to solve this issue i need to buy a h i d kit. then another person told me i dont need a kit since tsx comes stock with a ballast and that i need to switch my bulb to a d2s bulb and it should work. But i already tried that. Now im confused on which route to take to fix this problem.

You can buy a D2S HID bulb from DDMTUNING and swapped it. Whoever that told you that you need a HID kit doesn't know what they are talking about, TSX have factory HIDs.

 

depends on which bulbs you are talking about. your foglights require an HID kid to use HID bulbs because you need the ballast there. they are h11 bulbs i believe. you can order an HID kit from ddmtuning, thats where i got mine. your headlights(low beams) use HID bulbs and come stock with the ballast.(unless your in canada i think). you need only the HID bulbs, which also you can order a replacement set from ddmtuning for $15. those are D2S bulbs

 

Where did you purchase your replacement bulbs?
Like previous folks who have replied, you don't need an HID kit since the TSX is factory equipped.
