Unhappy "grinding loose bolt" sound

I have 2006 TSX and once every 6 - 9 months it makes a strange and lound noise in the front wheel area when I start the car and slowly drive it - it sounds like a "loose bolt" caught inside the wheel grinding against metal. It lasts for a few minutes and then disappears. Happens when the temperature is > 65 degrees, but I am not sure if there is a connection.

I have had a similar issue on a number of Honda/Acura products. It usually turned out to be a small rock caught between the front disk and the splash guard; makes an awful sound. Try removing the wheel and using a thin blade or scraper to clear any rocks or debris on the inboard side of the disck.

Good luck
