Gps And Radio Signal Problem!!
i have a 2004 tsx. i believe all the antenna stuff is on the back window. i bought the car used, and it has tint. after researching about the metallic tint problem; i just recently removed the tint and i still have the same problem. when i drive on the highway, everything is fine the gps recognizes which highway i am on. however, the radio signal is still somewhat weak. when i drive in residential areas, the gps does not recognize what road i am on. does anyone have this problem? please help.
Underneath the LCD screen push and hold down the first 3 buttons on the left at the same time that control the Navigation.
I believe the buttons are mapguide, cancel, and menu.
Then on your screen touch "gps information".
You should see how many satellites your nav system is picking up. If it's less than 3 at anytime, your gps wont be accurate. The more satellites at one time the more accurate it is.
Is your TSX still under warranty? Take it into the dealer and have them take a stab at it if you can't pickup at least 3 satellites.

yes i have gone to the diagnostic screen, and i do come up with more than 3. about 5 - 6 range constantly, but still my radio signal is weak and residential streets do not display on the bottom of the screen.
