Boy I have been working on this for months- using foam tape everywhere but to no avail

Finallly yesterday I took the glovebox off (there are two screws underneath). Be careful removing because there is a 'trunk' wire attached (althought there is a safety cord).

Noticed that the short two inch bar that the glovebox latches on to was not fully screwed in on one side. Tightened it up and is working great.

This is my first post, but since many other posts have helped, wanted to share the love.
