The latch needs a firm tug on mine. I don't mind. I presume you're talking about the release latch, not the stopper arm that limits the speed that the glovebox drops. If you're impatient about that instead, just disconnect the arm (it was when I picked up my CPO). See my DIY thread about the cabin air filter for some instructions.

yeah I am talking about the actual release latch. I pull on the thing all the way to open it, but it doesn't open half the time. I almost feel like I am going to pull or break the release off.

My 1982 Accord had an adjustment that could be done on the glovebox. The box itself started warping, and I had to adjust the latch progressively tighter to turn off the glovebox light (switch was at the side, stupid design). Dunno about this vehicle....

Yup, noticed that too on my 06. I've basically gotten use to taking my thumb and first applying pressure over the keyhole while using my index and middle finger to pull out the right most part of the handle - opens 100% of the time flawlessly.

I have had the same problem on my 2006 i actualy broke the latch of from pulling it too hard the best way to open it unfortunatly is to push on the glove box and then open the latch i need to find the part number to replace my latch when i replace it i will do some investigating on why it doesnt open correctly before i break anthor latch.
