Dent / Ding on Interior Door Panel
Dent / Ding on Interior Door Panel
I currently have a small but noticable dent on the interior driver door panel. Its right by the window sill probably six inches from the door lock mechanism.
Its pretty much right where my elbow would be if I was leaning my arm by the door panel when I drive.
My question is whether anybody else has experienced this? I've already brought it to the dealer, they have already replaced the door panel but now after a week, its looking like another dent is forming even after I've conciously made an effort not to lean my arm on the door panel.
I either have one sharp elbow or the door panel sucks.

Your "dent" never went away?? After a 1/2 hour it usually goes away.

Nope - its always there. Its not as noticable now since the new door panel I have is about two weeks old but the previous one I had was definitely worse.
Based on what the others have posted, seems like this is a typical problem for the tsx.
Yeah, I've got it too. It went away once when I was on a trip to D.C. for the Navy. My car sat in the hot sun of the airport parking lot for a week and when I came back it was gone, until I drove it for a week

Hey jng, I know it's been some time since you posted about that interior door ding....but I have the 2010 TSX and have the same problem in the same exact area and I know it's a defect but the dealer wont replace the door panel under the warranty. Did they replace your door panel under warranty? Also, is there any way you would be able to send me a picture of it (if you still have the car)? Thanks so much!!
