Fun trip to dealer

I drove my 2004 TSX 5.5 hrs for my headlight recall & a bouncy ride. On the way my A/C started blowing warm air. Service checked out the car and both front shocks are blown, rears were replaced last year. A/C relay is bad, and my tires are ?chopped?. Great part is, they dont have the parts. I get to drive back down to get it fixed.

Anyone else had issues with stock shocks going bad?

Not me. Good luck with the repairs. Sucks you have such a long drive to the nearest dealer!

Hopefully you mean roundtrip was 5.5hrs.

Do you know where Gorham is? That's my old hometown many many years ago.

Did you buy the car used or have you owned it? I'm asking because if you bought it used it may have been that the person before you owned may have had after market springs on and took them off when they traded it back in, causing the blown shocks. The AC is a TSB on the 04 and the tires, well that just sucks!

Are the shocks being covered under warranty? If not, and you have to pay out-of-pocket, you might consider the A-spec shock/struts.

^^ They will be cheaper and you can get them from a certified Acura dealer too! I like them a lot!

It's hard to believe that the front struts are blown at 46k. I thought that struts should last much longer. Good luck.
