Foglights suppose to be on?

This might seem like a really dumb question, but I just noticed for the first time today when I had my buddy pull out my '07 TSX at night that my foglights weren't on. My headlights were turned on.

Aren't the fogs suppose to be lit when the headlights are lit? Any explanations as to why they're not on? Or am I missing something here?

There is another band on the headlight stalk that can rotate to cycle the fog lights on and off. If that is the issue then I recommend reading the owners manual. If the switch is on and the fog lights are off, then you have some diagnosing to do. Good luck, could just be the bulbs. FYI the fogs turn off when the brights come on.

foglights do not go on when you turn the headlights on. they had their own switch on the steering wheel. I personally only use my foglights when it is foggy.

I am talking about my 06 tsx. It is behind where you turn your headlights on and off.

Haha there we go. I thought it was a pretty dumb question I asked and there ya go. I never even saw that switch before. I took my manual out when I was at my home home and forgot to put it back in my car, so that thing's 400 miles away north right now. Thanks

You might want to read it (the owner's manual) fully when you have a chance (a wise move with any new car in my opinion). It will answer most any question you might have down the road and explains some things that might otherwise remain a mystery (like why the fog lights aren't on).
