I bought an ebay kit and the switch lights up but I cant get them to come on. Has anyone had this problem?

Might be a bad switch.

Also, there is supposed to be a 3 pin connector with a green wire that I can't find either. Can you guys please help?

It lights up when I ghetto rig it without the switch but then you can't turn it off unless you manually remove the wire from the connector.

is that the same one you got? i just installed mine today and ran into the same thing as you.


the gray with green/red wire plug on the switch harness is the "green plug" on the DIY. cut the gray plug off, and the black long one from the fog harness, and connect them together.

on the note of the switch coming on and the lihgts not going on, i was stuck on this for a good hour or two. i eventually brought it to my uncles and he tested every wire for power. apparently the blue w/ yellow stripe wire from the line going to the fogs itself had no power going to it from the relay, so he ripped the blue/yellow stripe plug out from the relay, and spliced it with the red wire on the relay
