Fog Light Cracked...What now?

I just found my left fog light crack while I was washing my car. I just got it installed only a week ago! =/ I noticed that there were white marks on the fog panels (it could be wax) but it does not come off.

I was thinking of replacing just the left fog light and buy a film to protect it, or use mesh around it. What works best to protect foglights? and what should I do?

This is a common issue, Try the search function and you will discover many suggestions and solutions to the cracked fog lights.

If you want a suggestion for protective film, Xpel makes a great product that works well.

I don't see an option for just foglight film on xpel's website. Got a link? Do you all use lamin-x tool? I hear lamin-x will burn and xpel's stuff won't.

+1

I've installed it on the head/fog lights on all my vehicles and have no cracks/chips since.

edit: forgot to mention I had a browning issue when I had them on my TSX. There's a few threads around with pictures.

I found a local installer on their website and the guy could make what I wanted. I actually had him make me a piece to put behind my rear license plate so it doesn't scratch up my trunk.
