Sometimes a low amount or bad clutch fluid will make shifting more difficult.

If thats all it is, thats nothing to fix

I don't think it's the clutch, sounds like a synchro problem in your tranny... Good luck on the fix!

I hope not!! That would suck..If it was that though I would get a Type S tranny and lose my VSA =)

I think the labor would be the killer to replace a synchro, other than that you might even want to upgrade to carbon instead of the brass unit.

Is a Type S tranny a possible swap? I never heard that one before...

Sounds to me that the clutch is still grabbing while you're shifting. Basically feels the same as if you were to do clutchless shifting. It'll have a more restrictive feeling when going in and out of a gear. It could be that you're shifting so fast, that you're not letting the clutch disc fully disengage itself from the pressure plate. You might not notice it, but you might be pulling at the shifter before your clutch pedel drops. Im not questioning your driving skills or anything, just stating some possibilities. Hope this helps

Definitely not synchros. Synchros are used mostly when going into a gear, but Stokeless is complaining its hard coming out of a gear. Signs of a bad synchro usually means grinding.

I sometimes have problems going into reverse, someone said it's because there are no syncros so I'd assume if that logic is correct then TechSX is correct.

If you are out of warranty will the dealer still look at it for free and give you a diagnostic?

the reverse gear/ first gear can sometimes be hard to engage, just movie it all the way to each side in neutral and try again, that usually works for me

Probably not.
I mean if you go into for an oil change and they take a quick glance, then probably not. But if you want them to find a problem then it'll probably be their hourly rate until they find something.
