exterior and interior problems

I bought my TSX in August and already there are problems with its interior and exterior.

The panel that covers the wires in the driver seat keeps popping out, thus exposing the wires.

The seals on the back doors (both passenger and driver's sides) are lifting from the doors themselves AND the pseudo-chrome looking seal that covers the small little windows in the back windows keep coming off. It seems as if they put my car together with scotch tape or something!

It's really frustrating...does anyone have the same problems or do I just have the worst luck with this car???

I have a lot of problems with my TSX too and I got mines back in May. I am not talking about the dashboard rattling and severe vibrations at idle I have with mines.

My power drivers seat is off the rail and it doesn't work that good. The motor for the passenger side front power window just broke on Saturday. Now that window can't go back up once its down.

I am beginning to think my car is a lemon cuz over the summer my A/C had problems and the clock went out, but those were fixed under warranty. However, the local Acura dealer is tired of me bring my car in for so many warranty repairs. I think my TSX is cursed and I only have 9,2xx miles on it.

This quite possibly is the worse new car I've ever owned.:'(

Sorry to hear about the problems. Even though I have not had any problems yet, I keep waiting for murphy's law to kick in. I am at 2300mi., and I'm hoping for the best.

2004_TSX--Sorry to hear about your many problems. They shouldn't make you feel bad about taking your car in for warranty repairs. I'd report their attitude on the survey they usually ask you to fill out after the service. Anyhoooo...if they had built these damn cars correctly the first time, we wouldn't have to keep bothering them with WARRANTY repairs.

I brought my car into the dealer this afternoon and they seemed nice about fixing the problems. Hopefully everything gets fixed the first time around...because if I have to come back 3 times for the same problem, under the California Lemon Law, they have to refund my money or give me a new car.

I have a question for you or anyone who can answer this...DOES THE SEAT HEATER IN THE PASSENGER SIDE HEAT UP IN THE BACK AS WELL AS THE BUTT AREA? MY SEAT HEATER IN THE DRIVER SIDE HEATS UP COMPLETELY FROM MY BUTT TO MY BACK, BUT THE PASSENGER SIDE ONLY HEATS THE BUTT AREA. I TOLD THE DEALER ABOUT IT THIS AFTERNOON AND THE SERVICE MANAGER SAID THAT'S NORMAL. THEY ONLY HEAT UP THE BUTT ON THE PASSENGER SIDE.

I think that's weird. But I wanted to verify it with another TSX owner before I come back and call them lazy liars!!!!!

passenger side heaters is only the bottom. There are some airbag sensors in the seat back which dont' allow it to be heated as well.

Don't count on much relief from the California lemmon law. The problems with your car have to be quite serious before that law kicks in.

I have had my TSX less than a month and have had the same seat problem (falling apart and exposing wires). They have ordered the part and it is backordered so I assume we aren't the only ones. Also my driver's side temp up/down button doesn't go down. I can get the temp down if I use the voice command but can't use the button. Anyone else had this problem?

This the most I've ever spent on a car and I'm pretty bummed that 2 things are already wrong with it in less than a month.

A little buyers remorse here...

my seat was fixed today. yay.

they also fixed a very annoying wind noise by replacing the driver's side view mirror and door seal. yay.

the brakes still squeal when pressed lightly in city traffic and now, when it's cold, the dashboard rattles near the passenger side of the windshield. boo.

The passenger seat only heats the bottom the back part has airbag sensors that monitor the size and the postion of the passenger!!!

no shit!

i think i got my answer from the first few responses to my original post.

some people just have a knack for stating the obvious!

i guess it's easier to do that than to think up of something original to say!
