Exhaust leak...

I noticed a weird hissing/ raspy sounds last night whenever I applied the gas coming from behind me, towards the middle back end of the car. I thought nothing out of it, so then i start my car this morning to go to school and i step out of it, and it sounds like theres a break in my exhaust note, greddy evoII, i think it might be coming from where the pipe connects to the mufflers. When ever i gased the car the sound came. Any suggestions?

If you do have a hole in your exhaust, you can try JB weld to patch it. Heck, when I had my Accord, almost half of the exhaust was JB Weld until I had to replace the resonator because it fell off.

if you have the mufflers, then they connect to a pipe, then that pipe connects to the pipe with the resonator... what gasket is that? the one connecting to the resonator pipe?

Okay, JB Weld won't help you with a cracked gasket. I'm not familiar with any of the aftermarket exhausts, but I'd be willing to bet you can get a universal exhaust gasket that will fit. Maybe Mr Heel Toe can help you out with that?

^^ what i used for my gaskets in my exhaust was liquid gasket for exhausts. its black, just squeeze some around the area and attach. the heat will cure the material

you should be able to order gaskets relatively cheap at any run-of-the-mill auto parts store
