Easily Bent Rims??
I'm just curious if anyone else has this problem in the NY/NJ area.
I have a 2005 TSX, 23500 miles in 1 year and I have had to replace 1 rim already, and I think another one was bent at the same time but not as severe but I can tell on certain roads that the steering wheel shakes slightly.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong if anything, I had a 2002 Saturn SC2 for 3 years and never bent a rim...
Anyone got any tips to help me out here? Thanks so much

We have pretty rough roads up here in Quebec. Some potholes are large enough and deep enough I think, if we didn't drive so fast over them, we might have a look at what's going on in OZ by peering into them.
Seriously, I still haven't bent a single OEM rim on the TSX. But my PSI is higher than recommended. I keep them at 38PSI.
Same for my Smart. Those tires have a really low profile, I think they are 45's mounted on 15" wheels and those potholes are complete murder for the little car, but somehow nothing breaks or bends, except maybe for my neck.

I just got two new tires on my TSX. It took the tire place three times to get them balanced correctly. They said that two of my rims had minor damage but it didn't effect the balance. They put the two new tires on the better of the two rims and finally got it right. Don't know if it's due to the rims or not.

Sory but this is a
I dont know but I think that I have the same problem too. On a trip to my dads house in Naples Fl I was behind a van that suddenly swerved out of the way leaving me no time to brake or swerve ( since there were cars next to me) to avoid a huge gaurd rail that was upside down. So, I ended up almost barely
hitting the rail i heard a painful thunk on inpact followed by a hissing sound
ending in the dreadful sound of a flat tire. Now my cars stearing wheel shakes
and pulls to the right ever so slightly, but when I pass 80mph it really starts
the nightmare. Im praying its a bent rim but when I put it on I didnt notice any deformaties so Im not sure.
When they chaned my front tires they balanced them
but the thing is I put on used tires so i can order some Wanli's I saw for $ 288.00 for a set of 4 215 50 zr17. So what can this be? Bent rims, uneven wear,
bad aliament, or my worst fear (since Im droping my car very soon) a problem with any part of the suspension. Im making an appointment with the dealer
on monday but dont want to be shocked at an expensive bill. Do they charge if i need a new rim or if it was my fault the car was damaged. I just hope this doesnt start a chain of events that lead to multiple visits to the dealer or even worse a new problem do to my incident after i install shocks, springs and camber kit because the dealer would just blame it on the mods and wont fix it under warranty. what do y'all think?
