driver fog connection freakin out

anybody ever have a problem with the fog lights? I had my front bumper replaced and ever since, the driver side fog will go out for a week or so. then suddenly work again. it's not the bulb and i've checked the connections. I even had to replace the housing because the other fog glass got shattered on a rock, so both replaced. then last week the light went out again. when it worked, it would hesitate for a second then turn on (just after the other would turn on). I cant figure it out.

maybe coincidence, but the light goes out around the time when i replace my backup light. (had led, it was blown, so i replaced with OEM). maybe crossed wires somewhere?

Sound like you have a bad ground somewhere.

They may both use ground, but at the point the ground comes together down to the one fog could be the problem. Try running a sperate ground wire from the one bad lamp and see if the problem stops. This way you will know instead of guess work.

roger that. thanks. i think the wires may have been pulled too hard when replacing the bumper, and that may have resulted in a loose ground...
