Can anybody help me to customize control settings?

I purchased new TSX, and tried to customize some vehicle control settings.
However, my car keeps showing a messege, “Driver unknown “Customize” impossible.”

Manual says the system cannot recognize Driver’s ID only when I use the key to unlock.
I always unlock my door with transmitter, but it still cannot recognize either “Driver 1” or “Driver 2.” Both transmitters (one is for Driver 1 and the other is for Driver 2) are unable to identify Driver’s ID.

Is there anything I need to do to make my car recognize driver’s ID?
Or, is there anything wrong with the car?

hold down lock and unlock on the remote till the led flashes. then it should work

 

Read the directions on the back of the remote...it'll tell you to push both lock and unlock buttons to link/unlink the remote. You might have to try it several times before it works.

If it still doesn't work, you'll have to go into the MID and make sure the link is enabled (it should be enabled by default)
