door problems =(
anyone have a DIY guide to fixing 04 door?
passenger side door opens from the outside but not from the inside, i didnt see any child safety locks on the front doors, i notice if i pull the lever from the inside weather the door is closed or opend it doesnt retract like it should, so im guessing a spring or so? the weird thing is i can hear the lil tiny gears working when i do try to open the door.
im so sick of going back to the dealers and leaving my car there for the whole day just to get something i can probably do myself that will last only an hour or so.
thx

Pull the door panel off, there should be a small cable that connects to the inside handle that makes it function. (It will actually prevent you from completely removing the door panel, you will be able to see it from the top looking down) If it only just popped off you can put it back on. If it broke somehow, not sure how you would go about fixing it.
go to Audio & Video and look at the DIY for removing door panels for accessing speakers. That will get you into and behind the door panel. If the door cable has come off of one of its mounts, or broken one of its mounts over time, it will be apparent. This would cause your problem.
