Has anyone had any luck getting their dealers to fix rattling door locks? All my dealer tells me is "can't duplicate problem" which we all know is BS. If yours have been fixed, can you tell us what they did to fix it?

 

I havent gotten mine fixed, but if you're getting the "cannot duplicate BS", find a song that will make the door locks buzz. It usually takes a specific frequency to do it..but its possible. Then you can leave that cd in your car and they can easily duplicate things.

 

my driver side door lock will rattle with the stereo off if i drive over small closely-spaced bumps. for my rattles, i don't think the stereo affects them

 

Ya..it will rattle over bumps. But you can get the stereo to rattle it too , with the right volume/ frequency. You just gotta find the right song, and then it will be easy to duplicate for the dealer.

 

All 4 of my door locks rattle even while on smooth driving terrain and without the stereo on at all. I hear a slight buzzing no matter where or how I'm driving. Its making me crazy and the dealer isn't doing anything about it. Any suggestions?
