Is there a way to disable the auto window rolldown feature on the TSX? (where the windows roll down by pressing and holding the unlock key).

I came back to my car this morning after parking it on the street and the windows were half down and some things were stolen. I'm thinking it must have been pressed in my pocket since I was holding a lot of luggage last night.

 

Don't see an easy way to do it. Perhaps by convincing the power window control unit you have replaced the drivers window motor, it might shut-off the drivers auto up/down but leave the window working, perhaps, and that might disable the feature? So disconnect the drivers window motor with the battery connected? Downside, reset is a dealer item...

 

Take the battery out of the fob and use the key and door plungers.

 

Man this almost happened to me in a downpour today. Had I not looked back my interior would have been soaked tomorrow morning. No idea how to disable it though
