I've seen many moonroof noises on this forum, but none describing mine. I keep hearing small but annoying creaking sounds coming from the front edge of the moonroof opened or closed. If I push on the headliner right along the moonroof front edge, the noise stops. I can also insert a credit card between the headliner and the moonroof frame and it stops. Has anyone else had this problem?

 

It's probably just the leading edge of the moonroof rubbing against the metal panel. Usually with the headliner closed, I don't even notice the noise. I only hear it when I have the headliner pulled back to review the roof.
