Dealer won't fix Speaker rattle TSB
OK, I could use some advice here.
My dealership told me there is a CD used to determine if the rattle is present in the passenger door. When they played the CD there was no rattle. I hear the rattle all the time when i'm in the car. There are saying they won't fix it if they can't hear the rattle with their CD
What should I do?

Check the TSB and see if your car falls into the range of VIN numbers. If it is, no matter what they claim, they are required to perform the TSB if you request it. If your out of the VIN numbers, take your care to a different dealer and try again.

My vin is in the range. They just called back and told me they will do it anyway at my request. They said it might not fix the problem, but I told them to do it anyway.
There is nothing bad that can happen from doing it right? I ask because they claim that there is nothing wrong and I shouldn't do it.
I hear the rattle a lot. I'm not gonna listen to it because they listened for 2 minutes and didn't hear it.

Just bring in your OWN CD. Thats what I did. If they want to hear the rattle, then let them hear it.
Actually, once you start pulling off door panels, etc, you could make the problem worse. Or eliminate one rattle and create a new one. So dont do it unless your sure its the problem the TSB addresses.

This is my BIGGEST disapointment with my TSX. It would be the perfect car if it wasn't for the rattles, buzzes, squeaks and wind noise. If these guys (Honda) want to play in the big leagues they need to improve their QC in this department.
