DC Headers CARB Leagal??Intake??
Just got a citation today fucking retarded 
... just wondering if anyone can help me out.. Also where on the intake does it say its carb leagal.. the officer looked over the car.. no sticker or stamp.. on the intake... Im not sure.. but i was looking up info on the headers.. doesn't say anything about carb leagal.. btw its the 4-2-1 headers. Thanks any help will be apperciated mabey the judge will drop the citation and i won't have to pay anything..

If you don't have the stickers then take a look at the California Air Resources Board website for CARB certified modifications.
Comptech Icebox intake: Executive Order D-455-27
DC Sports Header: Executive Order D-370-12
Print out the two files and show them to the judge.
...and, keep the printouts in your glove box in case you get pulled over and questioned in the future.

Click on the second link "Aftermarket Performance and Add On Parts Information" and then do a search on the executive order numbers I provided above.

Did the cop really go looking for your headers? Its one thing to pop the hood of a previous generation Honda/Acura with the header out front, another to go looking for the K-series header.
I have heard that SoCal cops are being taught what to look or hear for nowadays.

i actually have the INJEN intake SP1431... Help me out on that? thanks for the header information man.. never could of thought of that. I got an apt.. for the board.. should i provide the papers u just gave me when i go there? thanks again..

i can't seem to find anything on the INJEN intake.. inless im blind.. gimme link or something.. cause like i can't find it.. and i have to get these papers soon.. would really apperciate it. 
inless i can just find it on the intake.. instead of providing papers.. but i think both will be enough proff.. i didn't have time to update my sig yet.. sryy

well i got caught near my place.. in pasadena.. anal cop.. i turned a corner near a gas station i see the cop right when i turned.. automatically he gets on his bike and comes right after me i was like SHIT!! i got caught on foothill/rosemead.. so yah pretty gay

Let me help you!
You won't find a CARB etching on the intake. The intake is sold everywhere...CARB is a cali thing. If your intake is CARB approved, it should come with a sticker. You can then put the sticker on the intake. My accord's intake had the sticker on it until it was stolen. The body shop replaced it with a generic intake that isn't carb approved. At least it passes smog tests...

Print out the CARB certification for the DC headers and write to Injen to get them to confirm that the SP CAI intake is CARB legal. Challenge the fine and give them copies of the proof.

yah just sent INJEN a message see wat they can do hopefully everything works out in court and they'll just drop the citation.. since its not such a big deal.. damn anal cops.. at least i won't have to deal with em when i get the papers. I also got pulled over for not having a front licenses plate.. hence i have a kit.. it would look tacky.. plus he cited me for having front tintied windows.. how gay is that.. EVERYONE has that.. wtf? has to combo me up the freakin ass JEEZ

not sure about the tint i baught the car with the tint already.. im going to guess the front tint is like 35%.. i didn't give the cop any attidue.. he was cool just citied me up the ass
