was driving my car yesterday late at night and set my cruise control because I was falling asleep. when I got to my exit I forgot I had cc on and hit my clutch to down shift and once I get the clutch I panicked and let it go and now once I try to hit the cruise control nothing happens. what did I do
I pulled over turned my car off to see if that would help and drove off and tried to see if that help but once I hit cruise control only main shows but nothing happens when I hit set let go of gas and nothing
please help me

 

You did nothing wrong. using your brakes or clutch will turn the cruise control off. I do this all the time in mine.

I once hit resume on accident when in neutral and sent the RPMs flying. Again no damage to the system.

I would check your clutch switch and cruise control fuses first.
