I live in a townhome and my neighbor and I backed into one another this morning as we were each backing out of our garages. It cracked my rear bumper just above the left exhaust pipe. It was low speed fortunately and doesn't appear to have damaged the exhaust. Does anyone know how difficult it is to replace the rear plastic bumper and if it might be significantly cheaper to do it myself rather than have the dealer do it? Does anyone know how much the replacement bumper might run or about how much the dealer is going to want to charge me to fix it?
It's an 05 Carbon Grey if it matters. I haven't even had the car two months.....

Bumper will cost around $300 for factory part. Expect around $600-$700 for a full paint and refitting.
