Coolant loss issue - Is this normal?
Hey guys,
I have an 07 TSX with 9,600 miles on it. I noticed yesterday that the coolant level in the resoviour tank was between the max and min line. IIRC, I thought that this level was at the max line when my car was at the dealership for the last oil change. I guess my question is, should my level be between the max and min line, or should it be up at the max line? **note I did just check the level when the engine was cold. ** I just want to make sure that I am not losing coolant.
Thanks guys!

Normal; potentially you completed some short drives recently and not allowing the coolant to expand out of the system into the resevior because temperate was not fully hot - no issue. No coolant on drive way, no overheating temperature per the dash indicator and no white smoke from the tailpipe means no problems.
The reservoir tank is like an overflow tank. When the coolant is hot, it will expand and overflow into the tank. That's why it was at a higher level after you drove to the dealership. When the coolant cools, it condenses. This causes coolant to flow from the overflow tank back into the radiator.
