Thumbs down Console & Passenger Lock Issues

When I press the right button, which is supposed to lift the upper tray along w/ the lid to expose the storage compartment ... the latch does not quite catch right & the upper tray falls back down about half way up. Does anyone else have this issue?

Also, I notice that the power lock on the passenger door never works for me. Is there some kind of safety feature that keeps this working only in certain situations?

Just thought I would ask here before I took it in ...

Thanks

Yes, but I don't use it that much; so it's not a concern to me.

I have tried it both ways

Seriously, the door open, closed, locked, unlocked, after using the lock on the driver door, after using the key chain etc etc etc

T'is not a big deal bc I am never on that side of the car but if it is broke I want to get it fixed while it is still under warranty ...

Thanks

Using the key fob or the unlock switch in the car?

Center armrest problem.. I used to have that where I would press either latch and the middle tray would go up with the armrest. I had to take it in where the service order says they tightened or adjusted the hinge so you may want to have them look there.

The power door lock on the passenger door should work all the time. I think only the back doors have the child safety locks on them. Might want to have them look at that too. Could be a loose connector from the switch to the line.

On the center armrest, mine has the same "sticky" armrest issue. I read through that other thread (see link in previous message), and one person mentioned that their dealer "fixed" it with WD-40. Well, I have a different product that is more like oil which I use on squeeky door hinges and such, so it's pretty much the same concept of product, just a somewhat different forumlation. Anyway, it works great now. So, when I visit the dealer I can say "never mind". Heh.

The salesman said that these things "loosen up" over time anyway, but you know, it'll never have a chance to loosen up if I never use it coz it's annoying to fiddle with it each time.

Lightbulb Update

I took my ride in & they fixed the passenger lock -- said it was a loose connector.

They had to order a hinge to correct the center console & will fix it next week.

Finally, even tho I have had the rattle fixed once before, there is now a new one that is even louder but they could not find it

This happens to me...When I took in my car for its oil change I asked the tech to take a look. They ended up ordering me a new center lid on warranty. It is no big thing, but since they are fixing it free of charge I told them to do it.

Lightbulb Minor Issues

I realize that 1) this is a European Accord and 2) this is entry level/near luxury so I am not expecting the perfection that I would from say a Lexus LS. HOWEVER, if Acura seriously wants to be considered a luxury car maker they might wanna work on these things.

@ least it is nothing major, I reckon.
