i hit a deer recently. When i replaced the headlight i found out that the the positive wire came out of the coupler. so i need to replace the coupler, and the silver thing end of the wire. what in the diagram is the silver thing? the diagram website shows a pigtail, and im guessing thats it. any help would be great. I have to do a VA Safety inspection soon, so i need to get the headlight working
The "silver thing" is pin that inserts into the connector. Connector may be damaged but if not pin may be re-inserted. Looks like wires may have been jammed into pin.
My wiring diagram from shop manual shows red/yel, wht/yel to L headlight and Red/grn, wht/grn to the R headlight. I can't create a pdf from my shop manual.
