Comptech Oil Cap Owners

Maybe I'm just picky......but.....

I see all the pictures with people who have the comptech oil cap and it fits perfect in line and straight....

I just purchased it and when i put in, it doesn't fit straight

i called Comptech and they said that they all do not fit perfect like the OEM cap, and "all the pictures i've been looking at have been fixed so they look good for the picture"

Question: Who ever owns a comptech oil cap, does it fit perfectly straight, so the word COMPTECH is straight?

I was thinking of trying to take off some off the bottom to try and make it fit, but i have no idea what i'd be doing.....

Thanks for your help....
