comptech exhuast rattle?

does anyone have this problem? b/c i do, and it's annoying as hell.

it sounds like it's coming from the cat area - i figured it was the wire for the o2 sensor - so we wrapped a rubber hose and zipped tied the wire to the heatshield - we looked at the exhuast heat shields and there seems to be plenty of clearance.

anyone?

The best thing to do is to have someone rev your engine while you crawl around your car to see where the noise is coming from.

Might want to check for exhaust leak around the gasket area, perhaps re-torque all the hardware.

Theres an area, somewhere near the resonator, that it touches up against. Just get wrench or something and push up the heatshield to make more cleareance. I had to snip off some a few inches off the corner of a side which fixed the rattling i believe. It is a really annoying sound, rattles loud too. Now i got my struts or something with my suspension/brakes making a lound clunk sound whenever i brake to a stop. Oh problems problems
