Clutch Problem, I Think?

i have a 2003 honda accord euro 6 speed man, when ever i am in 2,3,4,5,6 gear and i put my foot down a bit on the accelerator once it gets a bit past 2000rpm it just revs like i have it in neutral,
could this be my clutch slipping, i dont have a strong mechanical backround so if you have any thoughts on the matter please help

It does sound like a worn clutch.

Once your clutch starts slipping like that, it's time for a new one. How many miles on the car?

If you can take off from a dead stop in higher gears without stalling, the clutch is slipping.

Another test is to use the handbrake and try to start w/ it on... if your rpm goes up but car isn't moving, then the clutch is slipping and needs replacing.

yeah my friend has a celica and he wasn't sure if his clutch was worn out...sometimes his engine would seem to rev a little to much. well one day he was driving down the interstate and went to pass someone. His revs jumped to 8k all the sudden and he noticed that a lot of smoke was coming out the back. Then he knew.

you wore out your clutch in 3 years? damn dude, either youre driving it too hard, or you seriously have no idea how to drive a manual properly. a clutch should last WAY longer than 3 years.
