Car is making funny noises when making sharp turns

My car is making these weird noises and the steering isn't "smooth" when I attempt to make very sharp turns while parking. The thing is these noises does not occur unless (1) I have driven the car for a long period of time or (2) it's a hot day. I brought it in to Acura today but they couldn't fix this b/c the car wasn't making any noises when they were checking it (it was a cold day today).

The tech suggested that it could be my front tires which are causing the noise. I swapped my tires a year ago when they blew during a road trip. Is anyone else experiencing this?

How exactly do you make very sharp turns while parking?

What kind of noise? A clunk? A click? A squeak?

And "whynot" -- pulling in/out of tight spots could require sharp (albeit very slow-speed) turns.

^ More of a squeeking noise. The noise is rather hard to decribe. But yeah, the streering vibrates and freezes up too when the noise occurs.

I posted something last night about a noise out of mine. However, mine sounds like a clicking noise but the steering is still silky smooth.

I think it might be the seat that is loose or something....

What is a CV Joint? I'm taking it into Acura on Thursday morning so hopefully this is an easy fix.

check out this site for an indepth explanation. its a relatively "easy" fix, but surely isnt a cheap one. if youre covered under warranty youre fine, otherwise i'm guessing it'll be between $300-$500 at the least.

That is definetly the problem I am having. It might even be severe becasue when I'm on the brakes now, I hear a slight clunk noise. Thankfully, I am under warranty.

As I read more and more about this, it sounds like the CV joint is supposed to last for a long time. Is it possible that I damaged it by hitting a pothole or something thus having the dealership try and make me pay for it?
