Angry Chrome coming off

My 05 PWP TSX

I just got back to school after driving the 800 miles down from fairfax and wow.
While i was living the luxury inside my car was takinga beating outside. I tried my best to avoid trucks and the such but apparently one got me. The fake chrome trim around the front end bumper right before it connects to teh hood is knicked off. Under it is just black. Is there anyway to make this look better. Spray paint.. although i dont want to do that to my baby. Any thouights highly appreciated

Thanks

I have absolutely no idea if this will work, but how about dotting those flashy, chromy spray paint on the chips and using "never dull" over it?

Yeah, it sucks that the chrome come off soo easily. I'm going to replace the trim later when I can't stand to look at the black spot and there's less construction around town...

I have the same problem. I might just sand it down to plastic and then repaint with chrome paint. If I screw it up, it's time for Mugen grill I guess.

Around $80. At Sunnyside Acura it's $72.61.

Sounds like it's just chrome colored plastic. Sorry to hear about your misfortune.

Shouldn't this be covered under warranty? Whats to say their car washing system didn't spray mine off (have the same problem). I have no impact marks from a rock or something.

Unhappy Chrome flaking

I am so sorry to hear that my friend. I do emphasize with you as I (after only having Daphne for a week, was not paying attention and went up over a curb.

The underside, just in front of the right rear tire got really scraped and the pary that goes from there to the front of the right door was jammed up.

I took it to my dealer's body shop and it will cost me $380.00 to make it look like new again. My own fault, I had my puppy in my arms trying to make a turn out of a parking place, foolish, foolish mistake.
