Chips on Chrome Grill Pieces

Just noticed this morning a couple chips on the chrome grill trim pieces on my 1.5 month old TSX.

Anyone have any suggestions on the best way to repair or cover these spots up? The only suggestion I found through search was possibly using some silver/shiny nail polish. Has anyone tried that?

Thanks.

My chrome trim around the front grill started to bubble up and peel off in several areas. I just took it back to the dealer and they replaced it the same day with no problem.

my 4 week old black TSX already has chips in the grill also. The clear bra doesn't cover the grill does it? Anything to prevent this at all?

Hate washing cars, you always find stuff that

Yep, same here. Check out my post "06 chrom and plastic". Let me know if any of you experienced the other stuff I mention in that post.

Sorry, guess I should have done a search first, but I was to pissed of.

So has the replacement held up, or is this just something thats just going to happen to all of them? Sooner or latter, they (dealer) won't replace them anymore. Unless they redesign the flaw.

I actually noticed the really tiny dots every where on the chrome on the top of the grill. They don't look like chips but more like weather damage, like something you'd see on a car that's 5 yrs old, but mine is only 10 months old
