CD player ticking

ive had my TSX about 5 months, and now when i use my CD player, which is the only part of the audio i use, thers this ticking. its not loud, but its noticable. i know its not the CDs because it happens on all of them and the ticking carries the same tempo, like a metronome. anyone else have this problem, any advice on how to fix it?

If the noise only happens when you play CD's then you might have a defective changer. The noise will eventually get worse and stop reading CDs. I have the same thing happen on two different cars (Chevy Astro, Nissan Sentra). One of the cars was out of warrenty.

My advise is to take it to the dealer have them right it up. even if they don't replace or fix it, if and when it does go out their won't be a warrenty issue later.

i've noticed a similar type of noise on certain brands of CDs that i used. For instance MEMOREX CDS arent compatible, plus if the CD is scratched or burned too fast. Well those are the only issues I encountered.
