CD Player Error

Has anyone had a problem w/the navi unit on the 06's erroring? My wife went to swith disks the other day and it errored during the switch. I have an 06 AT w/navi. I called the dealership and they asked if I had any burned disks in the player, which I actually don't. Did have my new Luda Cd and my Dave Matthews live at Red Rocks set in there though . Anyone have a clue on how to fix, so I don;t have to drive 2 hrs to Nashville to get it fixed.

I've had problems a few times with burned cd's but don't think i have with originals.
I've always been able to get the burned ones to play though. What happens is when it goes to read the burned cd, it'll show track one on the lil info screen above the navi(where is shows time also and climate control temps) and it will just flash/blink like its trying to read track one but won't start playing. The way I get around it is skip to track 2 and it'll start playing then i can go back to track 1 and it'll play fine. It could very easily easily be the media i'm using, i have not tried any other types.

I leave all 6-slots filled with burned cd's, so it shouldn't be that problem (unless if it's the media...)

I've never seen any error on my 06...

I only had trouble with the CD player when I cheaped out and bought a spool of Staples CDs. I tossed those, and since then, no problems.

Guys I forgot to mention, the cd's are stuck in the changer, they will not eject themselves or load.

Try disconnecting the battery, just make sure u have ur radio code handy.

And see if that does any thing to alleviate the problemo.

The car hasn't set still long enough to try yet. Soon as I try I'll let everyone know if it worked. Thanks for the help guys.

The TSB on our radios is to watch out for the labels, so I would challenge them on the "burned disc" issue. I have been using burned discs since Jun 2003 when I got my 04 TSX. I have never had one single issue and I have used the cheapest to most expensive discs.
